Pencilmania, 2010/15

A silent compilation film conceived as a commission from film theorist Drehli Robnik on the filmic "use of pencils". Robnik used to show his themed montages of clips from TV-recorded feature films at Viennese music venues in the late 1990s and early 2000s screened as backdrops for events he organised and hosted as disc-jockey. The piece can be seen as a cinematographic list of sixty-five pencil scenes from sixty-five years between 1950 and 2015. Concept: Kathi Hofer and Drehli Robnik. Research and editing: Drehli Robnik.
